My Playlist is a transient intermediary. When you paste a link, our servers fetch the file from the original platform, hand it to you, and delete it automatically within 24 hours. We do not operate a media library and we never charge for viewing content. Our pages may list frequently requested source links with a thumbnail, but the media itself is always played by the original platform's own embedded player — never served from our storage.

What we do and do not host

Video playback on our pages uses the original platform’s own embedded player, so the bytes are served by that platform and its own takedown, age and region controls apply unchanged. The only copy we hold is the temporary one created to fulfil a single download request, and it is deleted within 24 hours.

Submitting a takedown notice

If you own the rights to a work and believe it was downloaded through our service without authorisation, send us a notice. Because files are deleted within 24 hours, the copy in question has almost certainly already been removed by the time a notice reaches us — but we will also block the source URL so it can no longer be fetched through our service.

What your notice must include

  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact source URL (for example the original post or video link) you want blocked.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to send it

Email your notice to the address on our contact page. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to block the reported source URL promptly once the notice is verified.

Counter-notice

If you believe a URL was blocked in error, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details, identification of the blocked URL, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was blocked as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly use the service to obtain infringing material.
